Who We Are
We were a family of six who have lived in Zambia, Bangladesh, India, Philippines, the US and Canada helping communities as well as running businesses. John and Janet have been married for 30 years, and are committed to walking the path of Jesus Christ.
All of our children have moved out, and two are married with children. We’re a close family with a lot of love, laughter and devotion to each other and the world around us.
We also have a lot of skills that are useful in a hands-on environment: carpentry, woodworking, camping, hiking, a love of sports, teaching, mentoring and providing hospitality. Janet loves to cook and entertain and is good at it so we often have a house full of people. John loves the outdoors and is often kayaking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, cutting wood, bicycling, playing football, baseball or soccer with kids.
Janet has a degree in business from Queens University and John attended Royal Military College for 3 years.
